i think i get it now

what an exorbitant amount of time i've spent

precious days wasted

copious hours lost in frustration

building a wall brick by invisible brick

if only i'd understood the true nature of forgiveness

it's an act, a verb

which brings forth a physical reaction

when the mind and the body connect and agree to let go

forgiveness is not something you say

it's something you do

and only in doing

can things be undone
